Centre for Sleepless People
On Mount Esjan, above Reykjavik white beds were installed, where a discussion group was held.
During a bright nordic summer night, the group talked about sleeplessness and restlessness.
The discussions were broadcast over the radio. Sleepless people in Iceland could listen
to the transmissons and were able to participate by calling the programm.
They could send their thoughts up to the mountain and interact with the discussion group.
The project took place during the Iceland’s financial crisis.
